Overview

  • Designed by Guru Madhavacharyan, the Yoga Vacation program helps you to know what life as a whole is about, through the communion of your Self with the Divine.

  • It takes you away from the stresses and strains of your daily life towards a wholesome way of yogic life that helps to find inner peace and happiness.

  • The program is available year-round and is conducted in a place similar to that of the traditional Indian ashram conducive to the practice of Yoga and meditation.

  • Guided by Guruji, each individual will undergo personalized Yogic learning and stages of physical, mental and spiritual transformation for overall development.

  • Through this program, you will gain the ability to deal with different problems and situations in life in a better way and without being affected by them.

  • It is a multi-dimensional healing program that involves the curative process of ailments if any, and also the healing of karmic and disease energies existing in the subtle bodies which can manifest physically in a later stage of life.

  • The potential of the soul is elevated and the mind is uplifted to higher emotional centres through advanced healing and meditative practices which helps to change your perception of the world in a much more positive way and experience a state of unconditional love and higher consciousness.

  • During your stay, you will be able to increase your knowledge through lectures and discourses conducted by Yogis of the ashram.

  • The entire program is designed by Guru Madhavacharyan to make true spirituality accessible and applicable to all people and reap the benefits of it for peaceful material life.

  1. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory.

  2. The theory and practical sessions are conducted in a calm and quiet natural green environment conducive to the learning process of Yoga  & meditation.

  3. A vegetarian diet is followed during the course in which three meals are served every day.

  4. There will be one free day every week. During this day participants have the time to visit interesting places in Kerala, God’s Own Country.

The Program

  • The program requires a minimum of one week stay at the ashram.

  • Yoga vacationers are welcomed and received by the main disciples and Yogis through an induction program in the beginning. It is a Satsang where the disciples, teachers, and participants of the Yoga vacation meet and know each other.

  • Introductory lectures are conducted to know about the program and schedule in detail. This session is followed by medical consultation with doctors, philosophical counselling and assessment of the mental and spiritual levels of each participant by the lead trainers who are Yogis and the main disciples of Guru Madhavacharyan.

  • Based on the health conditions and spiritual levels of the participants the program will be structured for the overall development of the individual at the physical, mental, intellectual, social and spiritual levels.

 

  • The general practices include breathing techniques, Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, advanced spiritual healing and Kriyas for detoxification.

  • Personalized yogic practices include special techniques of Nirvana Yoga which are taught according to the respective needs of the participant and related to the root cause of imbalances at the level of body, mind or spirit.

  • The daily schedule includes morning and evening Yoga practice sessions, lectures, group meditation, chanting and Seva (Selfless service).

  • Lectures are delivered by senior faculties who lead a Yogic life along with strong educational background and spiritual wisdom.

  • Philosophical counselling and spiritual guidance are given to the participants by Guruji from time to time according to the needs of the participants.

  • Day trips are arranged by the ashram to visit interesting places of natural, historical, cultural or geographical significance.

  • 5:30 am - Wake Up

  • 6:00 am - Nirvana Yoga Practice Session

  • 8:30 am - Breakfast

  • 9:30 am - Seva (performed as a group activity)

  • 11:00am - Lecture session

  • 12:00 pm - Group Meditation

  • 1:00 pm - Lunch

  • 2:30 pm - Spiritual healing practice session

  • 4:00 pm - Herbal tea

  • 5:30 pm - Nirvana Yoga Practice Session

  • 6:45 pm - Group Chanting (Mantras)

  • 7:30 pm - Dinner

  • 10:00 pm - Lights out

Food and Accommodation

  1. The ashram provides three meals per day. The food is satvik vegetarian and conducive to spiritual progress. The fruits and vegetables used for preparing food are grown organically. The ashram is promoting organic farming for more than a decade and has produced and distributed more than 200,000 saplings of organic fruits and vegetables for free. It is also providing food for the poor and needy since the time of its establishment in the year 2000.

  2. The Ashram is providing accommodation for the guests at rented apartments nearby with all the necessary facilities. Students and guests from different countries have the option to select the type of accommodation of their choice. The apartments have spacious rooms, a dining area, a balcony, and an open terrace.

  3. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the apartment.

  • Shared twin non-A/C room
     

Please Note: Couples are not permitted to share twin rooms during Teacher’s Training Courses. No single rooms are available. A private bathroom and hot water is available in all the rooms.
